August 21–23, 2025, witnessed the successful conclusion of the 2025 International Conference on Trusted Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (ICTBAI 2025) at Hohhot Minzu College in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China, with an additional online session held for the Japanese branch. Spanning three days, the conference was co-hosted by Hohhot Minzu College and Baotou Teachers’ College of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology. It brought together renowned scholars, experts, and young researchers from across the globe to explore cutting‑edge advancements and innovative applications in big data and artificial intelligence.

The opening ceremony featured addresses by Professor Erdunbuhe, Vice President of Hohhot Minzu College, and Professor Jie Li from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Foreign Fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan and IEEE Fellow). Both expressed their congratulations on the commencement of the conference and shared their outlook on future collaborations. In his speech, Professor Erdunbuhe emphasized that trustworthiness has become a core issue for the sustainable development of intelligent technologies. He noted that ICTBAI 2025 provides a vital platform for global academia and industry to exchange ideas and collaborate, while also injecting new momentum into the digital economy development of ethnic regions. Professor Jie Li pointed out that big data and artificial intelligence are profoundly reshaping the world, yet they also face challenges such as trustworthiness and ethical concerns. He believes that ICTBAI 2025 will serve as a significant opportunity to foster interdisciplinary cooperation and bridge theory with practice, thereby infusing fresh impetus into the global advancement of trusted intelligent technologies. |

During the oral presentation sessions, young scholars from multiple universities and research institutions, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the University of Electro-Communications, Inner Mongolia University, Hohhot Minzu College, and Baotou Teachers’ College of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, presented their latest research findings in areas such as passive radar migration compensation, differential privacy feature selection, blockchain-based content governance, mixed reality motion synthesis, vehicular semantic communication, and knowledge graph completion. The tea breaks and poster sessions during the conference also fostered interaction and collaboration among interdisciplinary researchers. The conference organizing committee presented awards for outstanding papers, outstanding presentations, and outstanding posters, encouraging continued in-depth exploration in the fields of trusted big data and artificial intelligence.
